Domaine de Bellivière
The estate covers 13 hectares in Jasnières and Coteaux du Loir Appellations. The parcels located in 5 parishes (Lhomme, Ruillé sur Loir, Chahaignes, Marçon and Dissay sous Courcillon) offer different soils which constitute the richness and diversity of the different wines of the estate.
The vines, including old vines, are cultivated by ploughing, harrowing etc. Progressively, parcel by parcel, this fundamental work has enabled us to build a natural resistance that we are continually improving. We chose 2008 to be the year we converted the whole estate to Biodynamic agriculture.
The harvest is entirely manual and yields resolutely very moderate.
We replant using scions from within our own vineyards, planting at a high density quite deliberately. This gives a better quality, and allows us to use our rare and valuable terroir to the best advantage.

Le domaine couvre 13 hectares dans les appellations Jasnières et Coteaux du Loir. Les parcelles situées sur 5 communes (Lhomme, Ruillé sur Loir, Chahaignes, Marçon et Dissay sous Courcillon) offrent les différents terroirs qui constituent la richesse et la diversité des cuvées du domaine.
Les vignes sont cultivées (labourages, grattages, etc...), y compris les vignes âgées. Parcelle par parcelle et petit à petit, le travail de fond nous permet de constater une résistance naturelle que nous n’avons de cesse d’améliorer et nous avons choisi 2008 pour convertir l’ensemble du vignoble à l’agriculture biodynamique.
La vendange est entièrement manuelle et les rendements sont résolument très modérés.
Les plantations en sélection massale sont volontairement conçues à densité élevée, plus qualitative, de manière à mieux occuper nos terroirs rares et de valeur.

Domaine Rouge Garance
A commitment with ECOCERT to produce organic wines has been started in 2007 and the Label Oganic Wine is to be expected in 2010.
1977, Claudie and Bertrand Cortellini settle down on a small 6ha property located in the commune of Castillon du Gard.The grapes were then brought to the local cooperative cellar for processing.
1985, They then encounter Jean Louis Trintignant, an actor whose passion is wine. This passion convinced them to vinify their own wine.
1996, Together they bought a vinyard located at Saint-Hilaire d’Ozilhan.
1997, Then the project becomes reality. They vinify a small part ( 5 ha ) of the harvest under the label “Rouge Garance”. Enki Bilal designs the first label and creates the bird which will become the trade mark of the domain.
1998, A second wine “Garances” is produced in order to celebrate some very old Carignan vines.
1999, The cellar was extended to accomodate for the entire production of the property.
A new and exiting adventure begins with the production of five vintages.
Rouge Garance is a domain located in the two communes of Castillon and Saint-Hilaire d’Ozilhan (Gard) on the right bank of the Rhône river.
From all the differents vineyards of the domain, one can admire the famous Pont du Gard, over many centuries witness of the relationship between man and wine.
Basked in exeptionally sunny conditions, the grapes mature in early September.
The mixed clay-limestone; soil is blanketed with a covering of small stones.This soil offers the diverse varieties of Syrah, Grenache, Cinsault, Mourvèdre and Carignan, the possibility for their best expression.
Our idea is to work our vinyards in a way that is safe for the environment.This includes tilling the soil frequently, avoiding chemical fertilizers and fight sensibly against vine diseases.From pruning to hand selected harvests, vinification and bottling, we take pain in proposing to you an original and product of the highest quality.”
Un engagement avec ECOCERT (organisme certificateur) pour la culture biologique de la vigne. Label AB pour le millésime 2010.
En 1977,Claudie et Bertrand Cortellini s’installent sur une petite propriété de 6 hectares située sur la commune de Castillon proche du Pont du Gard.
Le raisin est alors amené en cave coopérative.
En 1985, ils rencontrent Jean-Louis Trintignant, acteur passionné de vin, ils évoquent déjà le plaisir de vinifier le raisin en cave particulière.
En 1996, ils achètent ensemble une propriété située sur la commune de Saint-Hilaire-d’Ozilhan.
En 1997,le projet devient réalité: ils vinifient en cave particulière une petite partie (5ha) de leur récolte sous le nom de « Rouge Garance ».
Enki Bilal dessine la première étiquette et crée L’oiseau qui deviendra l’emblème du domaine.
Un second vin “Garances” est produit en 1998.
1999, la cave est agrandie et accueille la totalité de la propriété ( 28 hectares).
Une nouvelle aventure commence avec la production de 5 cuvées.
Le domaine Rouge Garance est situé sur
les deux communes de Castillon et Saint-Hilaire-d’Ozilhan (Gard) sur la rive droite du Rhône.
De toutes les parcelles du domaine, on peut admirer le Pont du Gard , témoin de la relation ancestrale entre l’Homme et la Vigne.
L’ensoleillement est exceptionnel toute l’année, les raisins arrivent à maturité dès le début Septembre.
Les terrains argilo-calcaire, d’épandages caillouteux offrent aux divers cépages (Syrah,Grenache,Cinsault,Carignan) leur meilleure expression.
« Notre idée est de conduire nos vignes de la façon la plus saine possible, en travaillant les sols sans herbicide en leur apportant exclusivement des matières organiques et en utilisant la lutte biologique contre les diverses maladies. De la taille à la vendange manuelle triée, de la vinification à la mise en bouteille, nous nous efforçons de vous proposer un produit naturel et original de qualité ”
