Maurin Delmas wines, a passionate search for authenticity.
Fruit of a union stamped by the sign of passion, the Maurin Delmas wines were born from the rich and fertile soil of the right riverbank of the Dordogne.
Their sun-drenched taste coming from the blend of different cepages, can be varied according to one’s feelings, according to the weather and to the dishes served, bringing forth an authentic, noble pleasure. These elegant Bordeaux wines are made merry with the aroma of the Côtes de Francs, the perfume of the Fronsac wines and their charm equals the subtlety of the Bergerac nectar : a tasty rainbow coloured by the soil.
This union of the senses is due to the coming together of true, passionate men united by the noble art of wine-making and of vineyards, but also fond of rugby and challenge. It is a mixture of power and harmony, of strength and elegance.

Château la Croix de Roche - Vins Maurin Delmas
On its clay and sandy ground,haloed by sky and sun, the fine-looking mansion “La Croix de Roche”, topped by its small slate-covered bell tower, lazily overlooks the banks of the river Isle. Surrounded by its twenty hectare vineyard, this old farm was bought by Isabelle and François Maurin more than a quarter of a century ago. As if by magic, surely by love and hard work, it has been turned into a place full of charm which offers its easy way of life to the traveller interested in wine, wine-making and vineyards, looking for peace and authenticity.

Assise sur une terrasse d'argiles et de sables, nimbée de ciel et de soleil, l'élégante demeure de La Croix de Roche, surveille, indolente, les rives de l'Isle, coiffée de son joli clocheton d'ardoises. Sertie d'un vignoble de vingt hectares, cette ancienne ferme, rachetée par Isabelle et François Maurin voilà plus d'un quart de siècle, s'est transformée, par magie, amour et travail, en un décor de charme offrant sa douceur de vivre aux voyageurs, amoureux de la vigne et du vin, en quête de sérénité et d'authenticité.

Le Prévot et Château Grand Place - Vins Maurin Delmas
Born from a nice love story, Château du Prévot and Château Grand Place spread a mantle of vineyards over the clay and limestone slopes of the A.O.C Bergerac and Côtes de Francs terroirs .
Profitting from a mild climate and long periods of sunshine, the soil produces high quality wines, ranging from red to rosé to white according to one’s taste or inclination, highly valued both by connoisseurs and amateurs.
The wine came from an alchemy between an astounding vineyard and men with a will who, although they had different backgrounds, were thrown together by the same love for the soil: Calixte Delmas and Claude Cucuron, engineers, Claude Moscheni and Michel Laffont in the hotel trade and François Maurin, an oenologist. They were moved by the same ideal and had the same goal: to create a nectar whose keystone would be friendship and cordiality.

Nés d'une belle histoire d'amour, Le Prévot et le château Grand Place étendent leur manteau de vignes sur les pentes argilo-calcaires des appellations d'origine contrôlée Côtes de Francs et de Bergerac. Bénéficiant d'un climat à la douceur et l'ensoleillement privilégiés, ces sols généreux offrent aux connaisseurs comme aux amateurs, des vins de grande qualité, se déclinant du rouge au rosée en passant par le blanc, très apprécié lui aussi, selon les goûts et les envies de chacun.
Une divine alchimie entre un vignoble hors du commun et des hommes de terroir, professionnels et volontaires, des hommes aux parcours différents, dans l'ingénierie des arts et Métiers pour Calixte Delmas et Claude Cucuron, dans l'hôtellerie pour Claude Moscheni et Michel Laffont et l'onologie pour François Maurin, désireux de créer un « nectar de rêve » placé sous le signe de l'amitié et de la convivialité.
