We have been winegrowers since 1750.
At present , Bruno HERTZ and his niece Caroline KIEFFER work together on the family estate. Our estate is in Eguisheim, south of Colmar.
We have 6 hectar of vineyards and we produce the 7 Alsace grape varieties as well as Crémant d’Alsace.
We produce a Gewurztraminer Grand Cru Pfersigberg (Eguisheim) as well as Gewurztraminer, Riesling, Pinot Gris Grand Cru Rangen in Thann in the south of Alsace.
Some of our wines undergo ageing in the « Cave Historique des Hospices de Strasbourg ».
Our cellar is in the center of Eguisheim, beside the church of which the bell tower dates back to 1220.
The building which shelters our cellar dates back to the 15th and 16th century.
We let a 2 room apartment in a 16th century house, during the holiday season.

Founded half a century ago, our Wine Estate has these past 20 years experienced a fast growing period.
Today, Philippe and Sébastien , fully in charge of a nearly 45 acres estate, make a rule to mix the local tradition with the most modern wine-growing and wine making techniques, to make every year the best wine.
Our winery is located at Hunawihr, known as one of the most attractive villages of France, right in the middle of the Alsace wine region.
Have you ever seen the picture of the famous XIVth century church of Hunawihr overlooking the old village? It is represented on all publicity posters and in all books and magazine praising the beauty of Alsace vineyards.
Our vineyard spreads over an area composed of eight neighbouring parishes: Hunawihr-Zellenberg-Ribeauvillé-Beblenheim-Riquewihr and Ammerschwihr.
If Riesling is the very emblem of our wine region, we can offer also our clients the complete range of the other Alsace wines. It is made possible because our estate comprises a certain number of pieces of land: each one with different soil characteristics favourable to wines variety.
Today, thanks to the well-known "Grands Crus" and the quality and variety of their soils, the wines of Alsace have reached a high state of excellence.
When tasting our wines, their unequalled fruity lead to a feeling of intense and complete happiness!
Créée il y a 50 ans, notre exploitation s'est beaucoup développée dans les quinze dernières années.
Aujourd'hui, Philippe et Sébastien Schwach sont à la tête d'un domaine qui s'étend sur plus de 20 hectares et ils essaient d'allier la tradition et les techniques les plus modernes pour la culture des vignes et la vinification, afin de produire chaque année des vins d'exceptions.
Nos chais sont situés à Hunawihr, un des plus beaux villages de France, au cœur du vignoble alsacien. Qui n'a pas vu l'église de Hunawihr, dominant le vieux village, sur une affiche publicitaire ou dans un magazine vantant les merveilles du vignoble alsacien!
Notre vignoble s'étend sur sept communes avoisinantes, Hunawihr, Zellenberg, Ribeauvillé, Bergheim, Beblenheim, Riquewihr et Ammerschwihr.
Si le Riesling est une spécialité dans notre région, nous proposons à notre clientèle toute la gamme des vins d'Alsace car notre domaine étant très morcelé, nous possédons tous les terroirs propices aux différents cépages.
Aujourd'hui avec les Grands Crus et les vins de terroir, le vin d'Alsace a su conquérir ses lettres de noblesse. Quel bonheur que de déguster ces vins dont le fruité n'a d'égal nulle part ailleurs!
